...And welcome back.
It's halftime at the Coliseum, and the Mad Ants and Texas Legends are in a 67-67 pitcher's duel.
First team to 150 wins.
Rookie Corey Allmond has 20 points for the Ants, mostly on three-point shots (6 of 8). And after a shaky start, point guard Walker Russell Jr. has 11 points and nine assists.
Something we'll have to watch, though, is Chris Hunter. The 6-foot-11 center isn't moving well. He had knee troubles before the season began, and maybe that is what has cropped up again. He's sluggish, and has only three free throws.
The tide turned in the first half when the Legends' 6-10 forward Sean Williams, out of Boston College, picked up his third foul with 3:53 left in the half. Texas was leading 57-47 at the time, and the Ants went on a 10-0 run.
Check back later. I'll be here after the game.
