Maybe you haven't seen the box score from Sunday's 118-109 Texas Legends victory over the Mad Ants, but the Texas bench outscored Fort Wayne's, 43-13.
The reason for such disparity is that much of the Ants bench, and even some starters, was getting burned by the Texas fast break.
The Legends hit 46 of 82 shots from the floor for a 56.1 percent, and they're not that good of an outside shooting team.
Ants coach Joey Meyer has some teaching to do before the team leaves for a two-game series at Tulsa on Thursday and Friday.
There was no official word on the health of 6-foot-11 center Chris Hunter, who saw limited time Saturday and did not play Sunday. Even Hunter said he didn't want to talk about his injury status.
A healthy Hunter could have altered the rebounding disparity (Texas 48, Fort Wayne 36) and slowed down some fast breaks.
The other stuff - the poor transition defense - can be fixed. The main concern is the status of Hunter.
