Great moments in jurisprudence

So a fan is suing Shaun Ellis of the Jets for throwing a chunk of snow at him during a game in 2008.

The lawsuit seeks undisclosed damages for "physical injury, humiliation, mental distress, pain and loss of wages."

Three questions:

1. "Humiliation"? "Mental distress"? Because somebody hit you in the face with snow? Goodness gracious, Alice.

2. Two years? It took you two years to figure out you'd been humiliated and mentally distressed because somebody hit you in the face with snow?

3. Can this case possibly be tried outdoors, so we can, you know, pelt your lawyer with snowballs when he gets up to argue your case?
