Shhh! IPFW is getting a national honor

IPFW Chancellor Michael Wartell has scheduled a news conference next week to announce a “national honor” for the Fort Wayne university.

It will be 1:30 p.m. in the Cole Auditorium at the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center (NIIC), 3211 Stellhorn Road.

Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry is among the scheduled speakers.

“Because this event coincides with the national release of this information, no further details can be released at this time,” Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne said in a written statement.
