Verbatim: Prayer services set in Fort Wayne homicides

Statement issued Wednesday:

Three Heal The Land Services will take place on Friday December 31, starting at 12:15 p.m. Leaders of the service will meet at 555 E. Rudisill Blvd. where the death of Marvell L. Fair, 31, took place.

Then participants will go to 1301 Wabash Ave for a service where it was discovered that three year old Jezaih King died a year ago.

Lastly a service will be held at 2020 S. Harrison St., where Yahree J. Cavin, 23, was shot. This was a police shooting and all indications are that it was an officer acting properly to an unfortunate situation. We will be using a slightly different format at this service because of the nature of the homicide.
