The opponent’s view

Here’s what Ohio State coach Thad Matta said after the Buckeyes beat the Hoosiers 85-67 Friday.

“I told our players after the game I thought we became complacent in trading baskets and defensively, we were not as sharp as we needed to be. We were on fire, but we began to play lackadaisically and I give Indiana a lot of credit.

“I thought they did a great job of moving us and the basketball around. (Christian) Watford hit some great shots and he is a tremendous player. For us to come in on the road in our first Big Ten game and win, we are excited.”
