There have been some memorable Mad Ants games in the past, but I can't remember any at the moment.
Walker Russell Jr.'s falling-down 14-footer that dropped with 00.2 seconds remaining gave the Ants an unbelievable 103-101 victory over Maine on Saturday at the Coliseum.
Although Russell got the final shot, the night belonged to Fort Wayne's 6-foot-8 forward Darnell Lazare, who scored a season-best 36 points against his former team.
It was also the return of Huntington native Chris Kramer, who had 13 points, including a game-tying layup with 10 seconds remaining. Kramer had missed the last eight games with a knee injury.
The Ants and Maine will be back to go again Sunday at 5 p.m.
