Indiana offensive coordinator Brent Pease, co-defensive coordinators Mike Ekeler and Doug Mallory, defensive tackles/special teams coach Mark Hagen and cornerbacks coach Corey Raymond met with reporters Monday at Memorial Stadium.
I'll have a story on Hagen and Mallory returning to Bloomington in Tuesday's Journal Gazette and will have other stories on the new coaches soon. Here's what Pease, a former assistant at Boise State, had to say about combining offenses with IU coach Kevin Wilson.
"Tempo is a huge, huge thing nowadays that can be very creative and very opportunistic for offenses," he said. "You make the blend of what Kevin's done (at Oklahoma) and what we've done at Boise State, and mix that. I'm kind of excited to do that."
