And Another Thing

Where will Harbaugh land?

So everyone says Jim Harbaugh is coaching his last game for Stanford tonight in the Orange Bowl, on account of he's so white-hot you're rerquired by OSHA to wear asbestos gloves if you're going to pass within six feet of him.

Where he will go? What will he do? And will he bring Andrew Luck with him?

The answer to the last seems to be a firm "no," because the NFL team most likely to pick Luck in the April draft, the Carolina Panthers, do not for some reason seem the least interested in Harbaugh (perhaps they're all out of asbestos gloves there). Most of the speculation centers on the 49ers, because Harbaugh wouldn't have to relocate if he took that job.

And, oh, yes, there's also Michigan, his alma mater, whom everyone assumes is going to offload RichRod. I'm not one of those. I think if UM were going to do that, it already would have. I also have a feeling Harbaugh's future definitely lies in the NFL.

Of course, I have been wrong before.
