JaJuan Johnson and E'Twaun Moore made the cut when the John R. Wooden Award was shrunk to 30 players on Thursday.
Purdue is one of two programs that has two players still on the list: Duke's Nolan Smith and Kyle Singler also are in the top 30.
Johnson is averaging a team-best 19.6 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.4 blocks this season. In three Big Ten games, he's averaging 18.7 points and 10.7 rebounds.
After scoring only four points against Penn State, Moore's averaged dropped. But he's still averaging 19.3 points per game this season. He also leads the guards in rebounds (5.9 per game) and averages 3.0 assists.
