Indiana coach Tom Crean has stressed transition defense leading up to tonight’s game with Michigan.
While the Hoosiers have lost six in a row, the Wolverines are on a three-game skid. Michigan though, has played No. 3 Kansas and No. 2 Ohio State tough before falling.
Slowing down Michigan starts with containing Darius Morris. He is averaging 15.4 points and 7.3 assists. Tim Hardaway Jr., yes the son of the former NBA All-Star, is second on the team in scoring at 11.3 points per game.
Crean said the Wolverines will shoot threes (the team attempted 24 against Ohio State and 28 against Kansas) so getting out and defending the long-range shots will be vital.
