McClain on Big Ten teleconference

Assistant coach Steve McClain stepped in for Tom Crean on the Big Ten men's basketball teleconference Monday. Here's what he had to say about IU's defense in Saturday's 80-61 victory against Michigan.

"We came out with a great defensive mindset. Our guys really did a great job of what we had preached all week long, taking practice into the game. They did a great job of that.

"When you watched the film, you saw five guys moving all the time. Our guys came out with a great defensive mindset which then created our offense for us."
