Darrelle Revis, voice of reason

I guess it's true what they say (or maybe just what I say). Talk long enough, and sooner or later you're going to sound vaguely reasonble.'

So raise a glass to Darrelle Revis of the yappin', scrappin' Jets, who admonished the Patriots' Deion Branch to lay off the whine and move on to a man's drink, or something. In other words: You got beat, dude. Deal with it.

Have to say I'm in Revis' corner on this one. I mean, really, Branch is whimpering about the Jets being "classless" for the way they celebrated their AFC divisional playoff win?

Hey, they'd just knocked out a No. 1 seed who had embarrassed them not a month ago. What were they supposed to do, repair to the study for celebratory brandy and cigars with the other gentlemen?

Please. They earned their celebration. And the Patriots earned the right to shut up and take it.
