E'Twaun Moore has made 5 of 10 shots and has 12 points as No. 14 Purdue leads Penn State 34-28 at halftime. The Nittany Lions started the game in a zone defense, but Purdue's Ryne Smith quickly made a three-pointer and then a pull-up jumper to get Penn State to switch to man-to-man defense. After that, Moore found his spots, getting open for a pair of three-pointers, and JaJuan Johnson took advantage of one-on-one matchups in the post. Johnson had eight first-half points. Kelsey Barlow, Lewis Jackson and Terone Johnson have limited Talor Battle to 3 of 9 shooting in the half. Battle had nine points.
