Took a tour of the third floor, where the Mad Ants' rooms are, and nothing going on. Mostly guys sleeping, or watching basketball.
Since the only mode of transportation is a bus, and since it's extremely cold, everyone is marooned inside the hotel.
There's an Applebee's within walking distance, but it's still a pretty cold trip.
Clearly, the losing streak is bothering the players, but it's really eating at coach Joey Meyer. Right now he's consumed with it. Even if the team plays poorly and manages a win, I think he'll take that.
It's interesting to watch the different personalities mesh. There are loud guys like Rod Wilmont and Oliver Lafayette, and then there are the quiet ones such as Marvin Phillips and Anthony Kent.
Rookie Chris Kramer is fighting a free throw battle inside his head. Friday night he missed three free throws, and missed them badly. Meyer believes the missed free throw he had at Iowa that could have won the Ants the game is still playing mind tricks with the rookie.
It's another hour before we check out and bus to the game. Then it's the long trip back.
Catch you before the game starts.
