Johnson's 12 points leads Purdue at halftime

Purdue is shooting only 39 percent, but leads Minnesota 29-26 at halftime.

JaJuan Johnson's 12 points lead Purdue.

D.J. Byrd got the start in place of Ryne Smith against Minnesota's big lineup. But in a surprise twist, Patrick Bade made a first-half appearance for Purdue.
