Indiana has dropped 15 straight games in the Breslin Center. The Hoosiers last won in East Lansing on Feb. 28, 1991.

"It will be as tough an atmosphere as there is in the country. We’ve got to get up there and have to shut everything out as much as we can, except having conversations with one another,” IU coach Tom Crean said Saturday. “It’s not like you are going to ignore it (the crowd noise), but you have to do your best to work through it. This will be the first opportunity for our freshmen and sophomores to play there so we have to be ready.”

The Hoosiers, coming off their first win against a ranked opponent in the Crean era after beating Illinois on Thursday, will have to go without Verdell Jones III. He continues to sit with because of inflammation in his right knee.

Crean also said transition defense will be a key.

Michigan State is slumping. The No. 25 Spartans have dropped three in a row. The first two were road games against ranked teams (Illinois and Purdue). The third came Thursday at home against Michigan.

Kalin Lucas leads Michigan State in scoring, averaging 15.1 points per game.
