Ivy Tech’s Comfort Café opens for semester
With a changing weekly menu, Ivy Tech Community Colleges student-run Comfort Café has opened for the spring semester.
Hours are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays through April.
Culinary students take turns working as the head chef and planning the menu, which typically includes a sandwich, a salad, a soup, sides and baked goods.
The deli is in Anthony Commons at 3800 N. Anthony Blvd.
Restaurants plan Valentine’s feasts

Paulas On Main, 1732 W. Main St., will have various features Feb. 11 to 14, such as Scottish salmon, pasta with crab and scallops, and rosemary and fennel-crusted rack of lamb. Most entrée prices will be $20 to $30. You also can order take-and-bake fish dinners, which include angel hair pasta and vegetables wrapped in parchment. More surf and turf at The Lucky Moose
Since last weekends Alabama surf and turf buffet was a hit with diners, The Lucky Moose will have another one from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
The $14.95 buffet will feature Royal Red shrimp, barbecue chicken, crawfish, pulled pork, ribs, greens, sweet potatoes and bread pudding.

Dicky’s reopens, takes party orders
After closing for more than a week to clean up a flood from a burst water pipe, Dickys Wild Hare, 2910 Maplecrest Road, has reopened.
It still will honor free birthday meals for those who celebrated between Jan. 23 and Feb. 1. (The offer is good for an item up to $10, with ID).
Dickys also will have an after-work party from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, with complimentary appetizers.
