Recruits on Parade
Three players from Notre Dame's 2011 recruiting class were named to the Parade All-America team Friday.
Kicker Kyle Brindza, tight end Ben Koyack and linebacker Ishaq Williams were three of 53 high school seniors selected to the team, making the Irish one of four schools with three recruits named All-Amercians.
Auburn, Clemson and Mississippi each also had three futrue players on the team. USC had five players named Parade All-Americans.
Brindza set the Michigan state high school record with 19 made field goals as a senior in 2010, including six of nine from at least 50 yards. He is currently enrolled at Notre Dame.
Koyack had 62 receptions for 1,031 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, and he will enroll at Notre Dame in June.
Williams was named one of the top 50 players in the country by Rivals.com, ESPNU, Scout.com, SuperPrep and 247Sports after recording 22 tackles, six sacks and two fumble recoveries in 2010. He is also already enrolled at Notre Dame.
Notre Dame Football Coaches Clinic
Former Florida head coach and Notre Dame assistant coach Urban Meyer will be the featured presenter at the 2011 Notre Dame Football Coaches Clinic, the university officially announced Friday.
Irish coach Brian Kelly posted Meyer would be at the clinic on his Twitter account Wednesday.
Meyer, who led the Gators to two national championships, three SEC East crowns and a 65-15 record in six seasons, was a member of Lou Holtz's and Bob Davie's staffs at Notre Dame from 1996-2000.
The Notre Dame clinic will be March 24-26 and is open to all football coaches. Fans interested in receiving an advanced football course taught by the Irish coaching staff and some of the country's top high school coaches are also invited.

Notre Dame is scheduled to begin spring practice on March 23, and the Blue-Gold spring game is set for April 16.
