20 below wind chills possible tonight

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana says northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio can expect bitter cold overnight.

The low tonight is expected to be minus 4 degrees. Wind chills of minus 15 degrees to minus 20 degrees are likely, the weather service said.

Counties in the hazardous weather outlook include:

  • Indiana – La Porte, St. Joseph, Elkhart, LaGrange, Steuben, Noble, De Kalb, Starke, Pulaski, Marshall, Fulton, Kosciusko, Whitley, Allen, White, Cass, Miami, Wabash, Huntington, Wells, Adams, Grant, Blackford, Jay.
  • Ohio – Williams, Fulton, Defiance, Henry, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert, Allen.
LaPorte and St. Joseph counties were expected to get 2 to 5 inches of snow today.
