Wire to wire, so far

It's halftime, and IPFW trails 40-33 to Oakland in a game that the Mastodons have never led.

Oakland zoomed out to an 8-2 lead, and IPFW has been playing catch-up ever since, but still hasn't.

Sophomore Frank Gaines leads IPFW with 11 points, and junior guard Antwaun Boyd has popped off the bench to contribute eight.

Oakland's two big guns are off and running. Guard Reggie Hamilton, who had 31 against IPFW the first game this season, has 13, and 6-foot-11 center Keith Benson has 11 points and seven rebounds.

In case you tried to get the game on 1380 AM, the broadcast wasn't on the air for the first 10 minutes or so. Problems at the station, from what I heard.
