Eyeing IU

  • Indiana State...then an off week
Indiana’s 2014 season is just mere hours away from kicking off.
  • Hoosiers announce remainder of sked
Indiana formally announced the rest of its schedule today, with the season opener on Nov. 14 against Mississippi Valley State. There is only one exhibition game: Indianapolis visits Assembly Hall for a glorified scrimmage on Nov.
  • Hoosier offense belongs to Sudfeld
BLOOMINGTON – The shared journey is over. Indiana’s quarterback role belongs to one man, Nate Sudfeld.

Indiana pregame against Northwestern

Christian Watford returns to the starting lineup for Indiana as it is set to begin today’s game with Northwestern.

Watford, Indiana’s leading scorer, missed three games after suffering a broken left hand. He made his return last Saturday, coming off the bench to lead IU with 14 points in a loss at Michigan.

Northwestern comes in off a 73-70 victory against Iowa Thursday.

IU got behind big in the first meeting between the teams, rallying late before falling 93-81 on Jan. 9 in Evanston, Ill. Northwestern got too many open looks at the basket in that game, and didn’t miss. IU will have to do a better job getting a hand in the face of the Wildcats shooters and making shots more difficult today.
