IPFW's women opened the basketball doubleheader at Memorial Coliseum with a 79-46 blowout of North Dakota State on Saturday.
The Mastodon women had four players score in double figures, led by Stephanie Rosado's 18 points and 16 from Jordan Zuppe. Anne Boese got hot from three-point range in the second half and finished with 14, and Sydney Weinert had a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Now it's the men's turn to see if it can beat the Bison.
IPFW comes in on a two-game losing streak. Before then, the last time the Mastodons dropped two in a row were non-Summit League games at Valparaiso and Purdue.
It's Senior Day in the Coliseum, where Ben Botts, Zach Plackemeier and Oleg Kovalov will be playing in their final home games.
On a personal note, all three are super young men. The university should be proud.
