Presidents Day closings

Monday is Presidents Day, and some government offices are closed in recognition of the federal holiday. Below is a list of northeast Indiana government offices and whether they are open or closed.

•Federal district court and bankruptcy courts will be closed.

•There will be no regular mail delivery, and post offices will be closed.

•State offices will be open, but Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicle branches are closed on Mondays.

•Trash collection by Waste Management and National Serv-All will not be affected.

•Adams County offices and offices in Decatur and Berne will be closed.

•Allen County offices and offices in Fort Wayne, Grabill, New Haven will be open. Allen Superior and Circuit courts will be closed. Municipal offices in Huntertown and Woodburn will be closed.

•DeKalb County offices and municipal offices in Auburn, Butler, Garrett and Waterloo will be open.

•Huntington County offices and offices in Huntington, Markle and Andrews will be closed. Offices in Warren will be open.

•Kosciusko County offices and municipal offices in North Webster, Pierceton, Syracuse and Winona Lake will be open. Municipal offices in Silver Lake and Warsaw will be closed. Monday trash collection by the Warsaw Street Department will be Tuesday.

•Noble County offices and municipal offices in Albion and Rome City will be closed. Municipal offices in Avilla, Cromwell, Kendallville and Ligonier will be open.

•Steuben County offices and municipal offices in Fremont, Hamilton and Orland will be closed. Municipal offices in Angola will be open.

•Wells County offices will be closed. Municipal offices in Bluffton and Ossian will be open. Trash collection in Bluffton will not be affected.

•Whitley County offices and municipal offices in Columbia City will be closed. Municipal offices in Churubusco and South Whitley will be open.
