OK, maybe it's a little dated, but we still have something to analyze from the brawl between the Komets and Wichita on Feb. 5.

But Greg Rajan of the Corpus Christi Caller-Times has uncovered the audio of WOWO broadcaster Bob Chase and color man Robbie Irons from the melee at the end of the game.

I don't have a problem with Chase calling the league "bush" and being critical of Jason Goulet and Thunder coach Kevin McClelland. The one thing that gave me a slight bit of pause was when Chase said, in reference to McClelland, "This guy ought to be fried pretty hard."

  • More amazingly, just when I thought I'd seen it all, look at this video of Colorado assistant coach Greg Pankewicz disrobing and hurling his clothes onto the ice. Why? I guess we'll never know why someone would do that, but here's an account of what happened previous to the striptease. I imagine this will be on ESPN by tonight.
  • At Friday's game against the Quad City Mallards, there will be a silent auction booth at which fans can bid on items, including a game-worn, signed Colin Chaulk helmet. It will benefit the Hoffen Foundation and local charities.
