Mad Ants game rescheduled

Larry Sanders, the newest member of the Mad Ants, will have to wait another day to make his debut.

Tuesday's NBA D-League game with Springfield, scheduled for 7 p.m. at Memorial Coliseum, has been postponed, and will be played Wednesday at 7 p.m., the team announced.

Springfield's luggage and equipment was still in Chicago as of Tuesday afternoon, which forced the postponement.

Sanders, a 6-foot-11 center, joined the Mad Ants on Monday. He was reassigned to the D-League from the NBA Milwaukee Bucks.

The Ants will also play Springfield on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Memorial Coliseum.

The charity event for Taylor’s Dream Boundless Playground scheduled Wednesday at Champions Restaurant and Sports Bar has been canceled due to the Mad Ants schedule change. The fundraiser is expected to be rescheduled.
