Tickets for the 36th annual girls basketball state finals Saturday at Memorial Coliseum were given to the teams at the coaches' meeting Monday.
According to IHSAA sports information director Jason Wille, tickets are given to the eight teams to sell in sections or blocks at the Coliseum. Teams take the amount of tickets they think they can sell back at their respective schools.
Taking the most tickets were Jeffersonville (Class 4A) and Vincennes Rivet (A) with 1,800 each.
The lone local team, Bishop Luers (2A), took 1,100.
Each team will also practice at the Coliseum this week, with Penn (4A) at 1:35 p.m. and Bishop Luers at 2:40 getting their 1-hour sessions on Thursday.
On Friday will be Benton Central (3A) at 10:20, followed by Turkey Run (A), Brownstown Central (2A), Jeffersonville, Vincennes Rivet and Elkhart Memorial.
