First game all but over

Oral Roberts jumped out to a 14-0 lead before Western scored its first point on a free throw.

Chatting with IPFW coach Chris Paul before the game, he said that Western Illinois didn't have much of a chance, and correctly predicted an early Western Illinois time out, which was called when it fell behind 12-0.

Some good news for the IPFW camp: guard Kayla Drake, who had missed the last several games with concussion symptoms, is ready to play, and will do so later today when IPFW plays UMKC.
