SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - If either IPFW basketball teams advance through the Summit League tournament, they're going to have to do it the hard way.

Both the men, who play at 7 p.m. today, and the women, who play at 3:30 p.m. Monday, are faced with South Dakota State, which is clearly the crowd favorite, since so much of the crowd were cheering for the Jackrabbits in Sunday's afternoon win over North Dakota State.

Combined, the men's and women's teams are 1-3 against SDSU this season, with the only win coming in Brookings, S.D., where the women defeated the Jackrabbits in overtime.

This is the third year that the tournament has been played in Sioux Falls, and the SDSU women won the previous two years.

The same dominance hasn't held true for the men. IPFW beat the Jackrabbits in the tournament last seaon, and South Dakota State lost in the semifinals the year before that. Of course, that was the year when North Dakota State, just up the road from Fargo, won.

IPFW's men are about an hour, 20 minutes from tipoff. See you then.
