    Notre Dame's Kyle Brindza was named to the preseason watch list for the 2014 Lou Groza Award. The Lou Groza Award is given annually to the nation's best placekicker.

Versus to show Blue-Gold game

Notre Dame's Blue-Gold football game will be televised this year.

The spring practice capper will be shown by Versus at 1 p.m. April 16, according to the Chicago Tribune.

As a warmup to the showing of the spring game, Versus will air three vintage Irish games on March 17, starting at 4 p.m. The games shown will be Notre Dame's 1992 win over Penn State, the 2005 loss to USC and the 1993 victory over Florida State, according to the report.

Coach Brian Kelly and former players will also be interviewed during the three-game replay on March 17.
