IPFW beaten by SDSU

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - IPFW was beaten by Sioux Falls 70-67 in the semifinal round of the Summit League tournament Monday.

Jordan Zuppe's 27-footer at the buzzer hit the back iron and bounced out.

The Mastodons closed an 11-point gap with a 10-0 run to get within 66-65, but could never gain the lead.

Stephanie Rosado led IPFW with 16 points.

IPFW also lost its postseason possibilities when, in the first semifinal game, Oakland defeated top-seeded and regular season champion Oral Roberts.

Had Oral Roberts won the tournament, IPFW, by virtue of finishing second in the regular season, could have gone to the Women's National Invitation Tournament.
