Indiana will try to put Saturday's blowout loss behind it in a few hours when the Hoosiers open the Big Ten tournament against Penn State.
IU is the No. 11 seed for the second time in three years. The last time it occurred also came against the Nittany Lions.
The teams played just once this year, with Jeff Brooks scoring 23 points on 9 of 12 shooting to lead the Nittany Lions to a 69-60 victory. Penn State got way too many open shots, and made IU pay.
Another concern will be Talor Battle. The guard is second in the Big Ten in scoring, averaging 20.4 points per game. He had 19 points in the first game against IU.
For the Hoosiers, Christian Watford will need a bounce-back game after scoring just seven points in Saturday's 72-48 loss at Illinois.
IU has dropped eight consecutive games and has not won a contest in the Big Ten tournament since 2006.
