Gooden's future?

The future of Harding coach Al Gooden has been debated since the beginning of the season.

Where will he be coaching next season when Harding closes its doors in its current form and reopens as a magnet school?

Gooden gave a glimpse of his immediate future – sort of – after the Hawks fell to Columbia City 55-47 in the school's finale in the championship of the Blackford Class 3A Regional on Saturday.

"I'm going over to McMillen Golf Course," Gooden said.
