    In East Lansing, Michigan, the IPFW women’s doubles team of Marcy Huck and Mayu Sato finished the season-opening tennis tournament at Michigan State undefeated Sunday.
  • Miami (Ohio) blanks IPFW women
    The IPFW women's soccer team (1-6) fell 3-0 at Oxford, Ohio to Miami. Kelsey Dinges scored for the RedHawks in the 25th minute from a free kick deflection to give the hosts a one-goal advantage at halftime.

IPFW golfers finish second

Not bad for a bunch of snowbirds.

IPFW's men's golf team finished in second place in a tournament in Orlando over the weekend.

The Mastodons, led by sophomore Drew Imel, who finished in second place individually, finished three strokes behind champion Stetson.

Imel finished with a 70 for a three-round total of 218, which was 2-over par.

The Mastodons shot a collective 3-over in the final day for a team score of 291.
