Create an Irish-themed blanket with this crochet quilt block

I tried to come up with a St. Patrick's Day-themed column, but didn't have the time to execute the idea. However, I did come up with this crochet quilt block. You'll remember crochet quilts from my a September column. (Refer to this column for directions on how to put together a block, including a video on making the bi-color squares.)

In my head, I envision the attached quilt block to be in an off-white with a bright, Kelly green shamrock. Sorry I don't have a photo to attach. But if you make this quilt block, please send photos to craftyliving@jg.net - we'd love to see what you come up with.
