Geekologie.com linked to an article today out of England announcing the sale of horse hoof boots at the Cheltenham Festival. They look like hacked off horse feet, but make your calves look fabulous, I'm sure.
Here's a snippet from the article: “The zip-up boots feature an imitation carbon fibre hoof with up to 5,000 individual horse hairs stitched into a knee or ankle length design.
But only punters whose horses come in on the track will be able to afford them – as they come with a 1,300-pound price tag.
The “Horseshoes for Humans” were created by bookies Betfair with all proceeds going to charity.
Spokesman Andy Lulham said: “As one of the most prestigious events in the horse racing calendar we wanted to celebrate the centenary of Cheltenham in style.
“We’re upping the fashion – and betting – stakes this festival.”
