Columbia City falls at semistate

Columbia City lost to Culver Academy 51-49 in the Class 3A semistate Saturday at Huntington North.

CC finishes the season 19-6, while CMA is headed to the state finals at 19-6.

Drew Benedict led Columbia City with 18 points, while Brandon Gay finished with 10.

CMA got 15 points and 5 assists from Jermaine Myers and 15 points from Juwan Brescacin.
