State museum hosts quilt exhibit

Frugal & Fancy Indiana Quilts is on display at the Indiana State Museum, 650 W. Washington St., Indianapolis, through July 17.

This exhibit displays quilts from the museum's collection, which are a reflection of both the form and function of quilting.

There are more than 25 "important" quilts, covering the chronological and creative span of Indiana's quilting history. Many of the quilts have never been publicly exhibited.

For more information, visit the museum's website.
