Hairy discussion is the least of our worries

Note the drool.

It might have been the dumbest thing to have a “discussion” over but there we were, my husband and I, trying to figure who would pick up Denali from the kennel.

My husband said he would go but only if he could take my car, a 5-door, because it was roomier. Denali – obviously – needs a lot of leg room. I contended that he only wanted to take my car because he didn’t want hair in his backseat. I added that he took Denali to the kennel to drop him off and his car (a stick shift I can’t drive) was already hairy – no need to make two cars dirty.

And, with that, I won the “discussion.” My husband would drive his car to the kennel.

Being the nice wife that I am, I decided to tag along to pick up our boy. It’s always a boost to the fur parent self-esteem to see how excited Denali is to go home (as you can see here: He was so excited, in fact, that he drooled profusely in the car, giving my husband more to worry about than a back seat full of hair.
