Magic number is 3

The Playoff Watch continues with the Mad Ants, who visit Maine on Thursday for their final regular season road game.

Sitting with a 23-25 record with two more games to go in the regular season, the Ants are a half-game ahead of Texas (22-25), which plays tonight against Springfield.

Two wins by the Mad Ants, which includes Thursday's game and the home finale Saturday against Sioux Falls, and one loss by Texas would put the Ants into the NBA D-League playoffs.

After tonight's game against Springfield, Texas plays at Austin for two games - once Thursday and once Saturday.

Idaho (22-26) and Austin (21-26) are still in the playoff hunt, but need a Mad Ants loss to get in.

Steve Warden blogs all things Mad Ants.
