The ceramic studio portion of the Pierceton Art Gallery and Ceramic Studio is offering a garden sculpture class from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays beginning May 3.
The class will run for four weeks, plus a fifth for pickup.
Here is why I decided to blog this instead of just putting it on the calendar: It sounds FUN. Whether you make toad adobe, mushrooms or mice this class is "free spirited" and it encourages imaginations to "run wild," according to the studio's brochure. The cost is $80 and includes enough clay and glazes to complete the project, plus firing and studio time. If you register more than two weeks ahead of the start date, you can get a $5 discount.
For information, call the studio at 574-453-8932 or email email@example.com.
