Verbatim: Driver injured in rollover accident on U.S. 20

Orland Community Volunteer Fire Department

Written statement issued Wednesday evening by the Orland Community Volunteer Fire Department:

Emergency units from Orland and Salem Center Fire Rescues responded with Steuben County EMS to the scene of a rolled over semi tractor and trailer on US 20 about 9 miles west of Angola Wednesday morning.

The semi was not able to negotiate the curve and rolled onto it's side. It was loaded with 42,000 pounds of recyclable material. The driver was transported to Cameron Memorial Hospital in Angola.

Other units assisting included the Orland Town Marshal, Steuben County Sheriff's Department, and Indiana State Police.
