Komets defeat Bloomington 6-3, headed to semifinals

The Komets are on their way to the CHL’s Turner Conference semifinals, thanks to a 6-3 victory over the Bloomington PrairieThunder, which completed a three-game sweep before 7,297 fans at Memorial Coliseum on Wednesday.

The game was tied at 2 after two periods, but the Komets got a breakaway goal by Artem Podshendyalov, a Frankie DeAngelis goal, a redirection goal from Lincoln Kaleigh Schrock and a P.C. Drouin empty-netter in the third period.
