We've all been where Kevin Na was today in the first round of the Texas Open.
(OK, so some of us have been where he was. OK, so I have. OK, soooo ... not even I have).
(And I once holed out a 3-iron from about 185 yards. On the wrong green).
Na, on the other hand, merely took a PGA Tour record 16 on a par-4 today, hitting into an unplayable lie off the tee, ricocheting a ball off a tree that bounced back and struck him, and hitting five straight shots out of the woods.
The most amazing thing about it: He still only shot 80. Which means he shot a 64 on the other 17 holes.
Second most amazing thing: There's apparently no truth to the rumor that he has Rory McIlroy on speed dial.
