NEW HAVEN, Ind. (Apr. 15, 2011) – Steel Dynamics, Inc., headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana and La Farga
Group headquartered in Barcelona, Spain today jointly announced the creation of a new partnership which will operate under the SDI La Farga, LLC name and will incorporate the advanced manufacturing technology created by the La Farga Group. Plans include construction of a new $39 million manufacturing facility and investigations of potential sites in Allen County are currently underway. This new venture is expected to result in the creation of 35 new full-time management, administrative and production positions by 2013.
