TinCaps manager Shawn Wooten provided an update on injured outfielders Donavan Tate and Everett Williams prior to Friday's game with Great Lakes.

"They are getting better," Wooten said. "Everett will take some swings today off the tee and if everything goes well, he will take some batting practice tomorrow. We might have him back Sunday or Monday.

"Donavan, it's going to be a little bit longer. Doctors, taking some cautionary film to make sure he's OK, no structural damage. He should probably be within a week probably."
