TinCaps fall 4-2

Jake Blackwood had three hits, including a home run, but it wasn't enough as Great Lakes defeated the TinCaps 4-2 in front of 3,625 fans Sunday at Parkview Field.

Great Lakes scored twice in the second inning and added another run in the third.

Blackwood had two RBI for Fort Wayne. He knocked in Wes Cunningham with a double in the fourth inning. Blackwood hit a solo homer to left field in the seventh.

Michael Pericht had three hits for the Loons. He singled in an insurance run in the eighth.
