The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Health Canada and Kiddieland Toys Ltd. have announced a voluntary recall of 16,000 children’s scooters.
Two children required stitches after getting their fingers caught in the hinge mechanism between the steering column and the platform, Thursday’s announcement said.
Consumers should take the recalled scooters away from children and contact Kiddieland for a free repair kit.
