TinCaps hold off Lake County

Wes Cunningham had two hits, scored one run and knocked in another as the TinCaps topped Lake County 5-4 in front of 2,234 fans Tuesday at Parkview Field.

Rymer Liriano also hit a two-run homer for the TinCaps. It is the first time the team has scored more than three runs in a game since the first game of a doubleheader on April 16.

Keyvius Sampson did not give up a run in five innings. He surrendered one hit and struck out seven. Fort Wayne improves to 8-11.
