Scoreless streak ends at 20 innings

The TinCaps scored a run. Four in fact. That's news in itself, but the team trails West Michigan 5-4 after three innings Sunday at Parkview Field.

Fort Wayne scored four times in the third inning, snapping a 20-inning scoreless streak.

Chris Tremblay ended the streak, hitting a two-out single to center. Chris Bisson scored on the hit. Rymer Liriano drove in two runs with a double off the top of the wall in left-center.

Liriano then stole third and scored when the pitch got away from catcher Rob Brantly.

West Michigan scored five times in the first inning against Keyvius Sampson. Nick Castellanos hit a two-run home run in the inning.
